Is located in the town of Barbastro (Huesca), it has 355 hectares of vineyards and has a production capacity of 5.5 million liters, with an expected 70 percent export. Irius belongs to Proconsol Group -present in various sectors such as cleaning products, real estate, leisure, restaurants ..., in addition to another winery in the Rioja DOC (Bodega Antión) - which it has invested about 60 million euros . The first stone was placed these amazing facilities in January 2005, construction compaginándose with wine making, which has existed for several years on the market under the Irius, Absum and Disuperi brands. At this time, the quality of the wines of Irius has not gone unnoticed by leading experts like Robert Parker, José Andrés Peñín or Proensa. They have collected major awards at renowned international competitions such as The International Wine & Spirit Competition, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, The International Wine Challenge or Enoforum. Irius project by architect Jesús Marino Pascual, also author of the Wine Museum of Dynasty Vivanco, and Bodegas Bodegas Darien Antión. The building has a height of 54 meters, 27 of which are buried achieving energy savings of 70% and allowing the use of gravity for the movement of grapes, musts and wines. One of the salient features of this winery is the incorporation of procedures and the latest technology -highlighting three elements of patent itself (isothermal trailer, the vertical pneumatic press and the "Cerravid") - the most ancient manufacturing processes of wine.
