Artuke
Wines from the Artuke winery
Artuke is a small family winery located in the Rioja-Alava town of Baños de Ebro. In 1991, Roberto de Miguel decided to make the leap from bulk to bottled wine, but they are his sons Arturo and Kike, from whose acronym the name of the winery that they now run, those who are shaping a project rooted in the environment and the landscape.
Artuke is part of the group of Rioja’n’Roll producers, committed to the terroir and to the production of terroir wines with identity. Connoisseurs of the heritage that they manage - when they joined the project they made a meticulous study of the soils of their plots in Baños de Ebro, Ábalos and San Vicente de la Sonsierra and later in Paso Las Mañas, in Samaniego - they work to preserve it, not to transform it. It is one of the reasons why they insist on cultivating their 25 hectares of vineyard in glass, as was done before, even the newly planted one.
