The Tarsus winery

The winery, located in Anguix (Burgos), in the heart of the prestigious Ribera del Duero, has 70 hectares of its own vineyard where it grows the Tinta del País and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. It was founded in 1998 as a château (Bordeaux style), in order to get the maximum expression of the terroir.

Denomination of origin of Tarsus Verdejo 

The denomination of origin Rueda, is located in the provinces of Valladolid, Segovia and Ávila.
The grapes, Verdejo, Sauvignon Blanc, Viura and Palomino Fino are produced there.
It has 11,700 hectares of vineyards and 55 wineries that produce wine.
Its white wines are world famous, although red and rosé wines are also produced.

Variety: 100% Verdejo grapes
The gently undulating terrain allows optimal drainage and facilitates the vegetative development of the vines. The climate is continental and extreme, with average annual rainfall of between 450 and 500 mm, which influences the average acidity of the wines and their high sugar richness.
