The farm is bounded on the north by the Sierra de Gredos and south by the Montes de Toledo, in the basins of the Tajo and Alberche rivers. 90 kilometers from Madrid, the winery is located in a privileged place for the cultivation of the vine and with a very high potential to produce quality wines.
The terrain presents undulations and has an important variation in soil types and microclimates, differentiating 82 plots, in which precision viticulture is practiced and which provide extraordinary complexity in the wines. In general, they are deep soils with very good drainage, while retaining well the water in the subsoil. These differences range from moderately acidic to strongly alkaline soils, from low limestone to very limy. The textures are also varied: frank, frank-clayey-sandy, clay-loamy and argillaceous. They are all deep soils, with good percentages of organic matter and without any problem of salinity.
