Elaboration of Ontañon Crianza 

The fermentation of this wine was carried out very calmly, since it was extended for 20 days, leaving the skins in maceration for 8 more days to extract all the personality of the varieties used. Its aging took place in American oak (60%) and French oak (40%) barrels with a duration of 12 months, in which 2 racking was done.

Denomination of Origin of the Ontañon Crianza 

It belongs to the DO Rioja, a name that dates from the late nineteenth century, but it was not officially form until 1925. The area hosts this designation of origin covers the regions of Rioja and the Basque Country.
The grapes produced in this denomination are: Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Mazuelo, Graciano and Maturana tinta.
The wines of this appellation are characterized by fresh, aromatic, with excellent vessel and especially wines are very balanced wines.
