Manual harvest in small boxes, with a careful selection of the grapes. Very careful fermentation, with temperature control. Rest for two winters. In the second of them, we begin to move the lees, very slowly and delicately. This process lasts 10 months and adds complexity.
What type of wine is Mar de Frades Godello
A small part of the wine matures in French oak barrels. After 5 months, it is mixed again. The final stretch: it ages in the bottle for 7 months.
The Mar de Frade winery
Discovering our wines is realizing that they emerge from a unique environment. It is traveling to a universe of contrasts, where emotions are intimately linked to the irrational. Where being unique is achieved through an innovative tradition and a sweet salty touch, being daring, brave, demanding and avant-garde... Unconquerable.
