IDRIAS reflects the essence of the Sierra de Guara, in the heart of the Somontano Denomination of Origin "at the foot of the mountain" of the Aragonese Pyrenees, a transition zone between the Ebro River valley and the Pyrenees, where the Romans consolidated the cultivation of vine, being today, its Denomination of Origin, one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas in Spain, where the quality of its wines is its banner.

The vineyards of the Somontano Designation of Origin have three different areas: the mountains, the Somontano and the plains. Its total extension is 200,000 hectares of surface of which about 100,000 are cultivated. Of the latter, 4,400 hectares are dedicated exclusively to the vineyard.
