In the middle of the La Mancha landscapes, in the heart of the Ruta del Quijote is located Bodegas Leganza. And in this land it has 524 hectares of vineyards of different autochthonous and international varieties: Tempranillo, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo and Viura.
Bodegas Leganza and its wines demonstrate the ability to change, to transform, to work with new ideas to develop, from eight grape varieties, wines with freedom, with their own personality. Fruity, fresh and smooth wines; wines that convey modernity, freshness and femininity.
The Denomination of V.T Castilla-La Mancha
The types of wines that can be made in the IGP Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla are: white, rosé and red wines; sparkling wines; sparkling wines; liqueur wines; and wines from overripe grapes.
The denomination of origin Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla La Mancha is a geographical indication for wines made with grapes produced in this autonomous community. The approval of this denomination took place in 1999.
The law creating this indication allows its use for all wines that have been wholly obtained from the region's grapes. Castilla La Mancha took the initiative in the revolution that the world of wine is experiencing in Spain and created a regional wine, a product that can compete in international markets on equal terms.
