Since its creation at the end of 2001, DO Montsant and its wineries have had to face a great challenge: to find a place in the competitive and demanding wine market. It has cost and costs because it is a constant challenge, which must be addressed by staying true to a philosophy. And in the Montsant territory, with 1,900 hectares and a global production of 5 million bottles, we are faithful to the quality and uniqueness of the product, and its link with the territory.

The seed of this differentiation is the commitment to native varieties. The Garnacha and the Cariñena, on the grounds of Montsant, together with the climate and the good work of wine growers and wineries, end up creating excellent wines.

In this search for excellence the other part of the merit corresponds to wineries, vine growers and winemakers. The DO Montsant wines are the fruit of a century-old tradition and current academic knowledge. They are handicraft products, in which the hand of man intervenes in the whole process of elaboration, a process that is the result of an inalienable balance between the field and the winery. The vine grower takes great care of the vineyard to bequeath to the winemaker the best grape, the one that allows the creation of wines appreciated all over the world.
