Irache winery is one of the oldest wineries in Navarra. It was founded in the year 1891 although in the tenth century the Benedictine monks, who inhabited the monastery annex, made wines in the same lands, well-known wines that served as food and cure for the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago.
The broths of our land were served in the banquets of the royal family of Navarra and were exported to France and Portugal by the monks that inhabited the monastery. After the passing of the years many things have happened and a lot of wine.
Everyone at Irache winery works hard, to see this historic wine reborn through a new administration, which in its philosophy does not want to forget its glorious past, but to carve a promising new future.
