Being a Crianza, Cepa Gavilán is the youngest wine made by the Pérez Pascuas family. It shows all the strength and freshness of the Tinto Fino. It defends its personality with enormous courage in the glass.

The Hermanos Perez Pascuas winery 

Convinced of the great potential of the family vineyard, the Pérez Pascuas brothers decided to found their own winery in 1980.
An artisan elaboration at the foot of the vineyard with a single objective: purity and authenticity. The care and attention to all the small details during the winemaking process makes it possible for each wine produced to be a true reflection of the place where it was born, the grape variety that makes it up and the harvest that identifies it.

Denomination of Origin of the Wine Cepa Gavilan Crianza.

It logically belongs to the denomination of “Ribera del Duero”. Denomination on the banks of the Duero river with an area of ??115 km long and 35 km wide.
Located in the regions of Castilla y León, it extends through the provinces of Soria, Burgos, Segovia and Valladolid.
This denomination was established in 1982, and mainly red and rosé wines are produced.
To benefit from this denomination, the wine must have at least 75% Tempranillo grapes in its production, and be cultivated in the areas of the denomination.
The grapes are also produced: Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec, and Merlot, and to a lesser extent the grapes, Garnacha and Albillo.
