Special features of the wine:
Elaboration of Blecua
For the elaboration of this wine we carry out our "triple selection": selection of vineyards, selection of bunches and selection of barrels. Once the harvest has been done manually, a selection of bunches is carried out in the "triage table". The grapes from each vineyard are fermented separately in truncated conical French oak vats. Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, the wines are taken to new barrels to carry out the malolactic fermentation and begin the aging process. These barrels come from different cooperages, in turn the oak has different origins and different degrees of toasting. After eight months, we proceeded to the selection of the best barrels and made the final assembly. This was made with five wines, two of Cabernet Sauvignon, one of Tempranillo, one of Syrah and another of Merlot, and repos in the same barrels for 12 more months. Once the aging process was finished, the wine was transferred to the bottle without being subjected to stabilization processes.

Blecua is a charming and charming winery that opened its doors in July 2000. The Blecua winery is located very close to Viñas del Vero, on the axis that defines the Vero river from Barbastro to Alquézar.
