Vega Sicilia became part of the life of the Álvarez family in 1982 they laid the foundations for the creation of TEMPOS Vega Sicilia. Since then and until now there has been a solid and firm growth, the incorporation of wines made in different wine areas, the approach of new consumers worldwide.
Ribera del Duero, a denomination located in Castilla y León, along the Duero river. It occupies the provinces of Valladolid, Burgos, Segovia and Soria.
Variety: Country Ink and Merlot
The vines are grown in plots with soils located in the contact between slopes that descend from the moor and the alluvial plain. The most superficial soil is formed by fine hillside colluviums with small limestone fragments, in depth abundant quartzite gravels appear in a sandy matrix. The angular corners of limestone abound on the surface.
Accompanies well with roasted and stewed meats, stews, game, cheeses and cured sausages.
