Wine characteristics:

Crafting Pujanza Hado 

pre-fermentative maceration for five days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks between 24 and 26º C with daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the same tanks.

What kind of wine is Pujanza Hado 

Wine aged for 12 months in 225 L French oak barrels.

The winery Pujanza 

Pujanza currently works 40 hectares of vineyards, all of them in the town of Laguardia. The intention of Carlos San Pedro is to continue in the search for those special vineyards that are called to be the origin of wines with their own personality.
In 2001 the first elaboration took place in the current winery. A functional building, with beautiful views of Laguardia and its wall, and adapted to a production aimed at preserving everything that has been achieved throughout the cycle in the vineyard.

 

Denomination of Origin of Pujanza Hado 

It belongs to the DO Rioja, a name that dates from the end of the 19th century, but which was not officially formed until 1925. The area covered by this designation of origin covers the autonomous communities of Rioja and the Basque Country.
The grapes produced in this denomination are: Tempranillo, Garnacha tinta, Mazuelo, Graciano and Maturana tinta.
The wines of this denomination are characterized by being fresh, aromatic wines, with an excellent vessel and, above all, they are very balanced wines.
Rioja wines are easy to drink wines.

Varieties: 100% Tempranillo
It is the only one of the Pujanza wines that comes from several vineyards, divided into 23 plots, which allow us to vary the final blend each year depending on the particularities of the vintage.
Vineyards located at an altitude between 450 and 600 m. above sea level.
