Special characteristics of the wine:
Fermentation takes place in open stainless steel tanks for 40 days with frequent pump-overs. It is fermented with 40% stem.
Aged for 16 months, in used French oak barrels.
The origins of this project go back to 2002 with the union of two families: the Navascués and the San Pedro (bodegas Pujanza) to recover and produce Garnachas in Jarque del Moncayo.
Cariñena is the only region in the world that gives its name to a grape variety, the Cariñena, due to its origin. The same name Cariñena, was used to distinguish the Denomination of Origin in 1932, along with others, the oldest officially recognized in Spain.
Wine made with grapes: 100% Garnacha
Goblet vineyards aged between 50-70 years and at an altitude of 600 m.
