Palomino Fino grape wines.

They are generous, aromatic, yellow-green wines.

It stands out the culture in Jerez, where it represents 95% of the vineyard.

It gives rise to wines like fine, odorous or amontillado as well as other whites.

Where is the Palomino Fino grape wine made?

It is a late sprouting and ripening variety. It has a good productivity. It is sensitive to powdery mildew and botrytis. Also, it is very resistant to drought. The clusters are large and priamidal. The grapes are spherical but irregular, of medium size and a yellowish-green color.
Its twisted and tortuous trunk, presents a coarse and rough bark that detaches in longitudinal strips. The young branches, denominated sarmientos, are flexible and very thickened in the knots; Alternating on them are arranged the leaves, large, webbed and very lobulated and at the same time are toothed, are often called branches. The tendrils come out in front of the leaves and coil and harden as soon as they are supported.

With it, different white wines from the sherry frame are made from the considered "generous" dried ones, such as fine, amontillado, oloroso and cut palo.1 Also generous Jerez wines are made licorized with a certain sweetness, for having a quantity of Sugars higher than 5 g / l. These liqueur wines are classified as pale cream, medium and cream. The sweet natural wines from Jerez, on the other hand, are made with the must of the varieties of Pedro and Muscat.
Manzanilla wine, from Manzanilla DO, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, is produced with the palomino variety.1 Chamomile is a pale, bright wine with a light amber yellow color. It is a dry wine and has an intense and floral aroma.
