Where is Verdejo grape wine made?
Mencía is the name of a variety or breed of red grape introduced and cultivated mainly in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula since the time of Ancient Rome.
The red wines elaborated with mencía grape, stand out for their capacity of aging, with a characteristic velvety palate, without neglecting the optimum conditions of this variety in the elaboration of young red wines. The rosés are aromatic and fruity, alive, light and soft.
