Moristel: is a grape variety native to Aragon (Spain), which is grown mainly in the D.O. Somontano and Cariñena. It is also known by the names of: Concejón, Juán Ibáñez, Miguel de Arcos. Of vigorous strains of late maturation, compact, short and medium-sized bunches, and cylindrical grapes, fine skin.

The plants are vigorous, with clusters of medium size and compact form. The grapes are of medium size, cylindrical shape and bluish color.

It gives fresh and pleasant wines, slightly bitter in the mouth with floral and fruit notes. Young wines, rosé or red, are fresh and pleasant.

Together with other varieties such as Parraleta or Tempranillo, it provides broths to which it contributes color, body, fruity and flavor. It has been used traditionally to mix with others to bring corpulence and color.
