wines Caiño grape
Where is Caiño grape wine made?
It is one of the less productive grapes of Galicia: a small, long cycle and late maturing variety, very delicate and sensitive, requiring manual and meticulous interventions in the vineyard to achieve good maturation. Its main virtue is the facility to extract to the maximum the characteristics of the terroir in which it grows.
The white caño gives the wine a very aromatic impression very tropical, and thanks to its ability to express the soil shows a remarkable minerality, with very pleasant earthy notes. In the mouth unfolds a range of flavors, with good structure and body. Its high acidity gives it freshness and gives wine longevity.
In addition, the white caño is part, in small proportions, of the assembly in other wines presided by the albariño, in coexistence with varieties like treixadura, white loureiro, side, torrontés or godello, in some wines of Rías Baixas.
