Gran Albina Reserva, a wine of new trends
Special features of the wine:
Elaboration Gran Albina Reserva
Bottle of wine, made with three types of grapes in equal parts, Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuela.
The harvest is done in boxes in order to take care of the grapes as much as possible and to arrive at the warehouse in the best conditions. At the beginning of October, permanent grape controls are carried out to choose the optimum moment to start the harvest. In its fermentation stage, it undergoes ultra-maceration processes.
Its aging takes place during 20 months in new oak barrels, and later 24 months in the bottle rack.
What kind of wine is Gran Albina Reserva
This wine presents an intense color and full of aromas. It is a wine with character and personality, as befits a Reserva wine.
The winery Riojanas
With more than a century of history, it was founded in 1890. It is therefore a family-owned winery, which has remained in time, updated and modernized.
As a result of this effort and in the unqualified pursuit of quality, today it enjoys the ISO 9002 Certification issued by AENOR.
This winery controls more than 300 hectares of vineyard in the town of Cenicero, and other nearby locations.
Denomination of origin Gran Albina Reserva
Belonging to the DO Rioja, this denomination represents the maximum expression of Spanish wines. The Rioja Denomination of Origin - DO Ca Rioja - is considered one of the best and most prestigious denominations in the world. It covers the regions, Navarra and the Basque Country, divided into three areas: Rioja Alta, Rioja Baja and Rioja Alavesa. The extension of land thus reaches 52,900 hectares.
Variety of grapes used in Gran Albina Reserva
